What is the difference between a 240 Networked Job and the other job listings I see?

The jobs you see on our job board come from two sources:

  1. Directly from our district partners. They can post openings directly to our Jobs board and are actively looking to connect with teachers through 240 Jobs.
  2. A scraping tool that pulls job listings from district websites across the country. These listings are live and available for application through the school district’s website.

A 240 Networked Job is a job listing highlighted in green and posted by a school district working with 240 Tutoring to find teachers. These district representatives can review your profile if you express interest in a job and connect with you via email if they think you might be a good fit for the job. The advantage of these jobs is that you can immediately connect with a district representative and start communicating faster by clicking the "Learn More" button.

The remainder of the job listings are the jobs pulled from districts’ websites. While these districts are actively looking to hire for the position, they aren’t connected with the 240 Tutoring platform and cannot view your profile to connect with you. You can still apply to these positions by clicking the "Apply" button on the listing. This will redirect you to their application page where you can start the application process.
